Father Paul Jarvis is retiring

For our parishioners who were not in church last weekend, I am writing to inform you that Father Paul Jarvis has made the difficult decision to retire in June of this year, following the advise of his doctor. As you all know, a few years ago, Father Jarvis miraculously survived a heart surgery he was given only 20% chance of making it. After his recent visit to his doctor, his doctor strongly recommended that he step down from his duties as the Associate Pastor in St Bridget and to focus on his well-being. Father Jarvis has served our parish with dedication and love for many years, and his retirement will be a significant change for all of us. However, we understand the importance of his health and well-being, and we support his decision. Our beloved Archbishop Hebda has approved Father Paul’s retirement. Before he retires, let us use the remaining months to celebrate Father Jarvis’ contributions to our parish and to wish him well in his retirement. We will keep you informed about plans for a farewell ceremony for Father Paul and the decision from the Archdiocese regarding our parish. Please join me in offering prayers and best wishes to Father Jarvis as he prepares to embark on this new chapter in his life. Your servant, Father Marcel
