Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Liturgical Ministry Schedule
Liturgical Ministries
Liturgical Ministries are a great way to get involved in the parish! Serving in a liturgical capacity helps others to draw closer to Christ. We are always taking volunteers, and training is available upon request (aside from our annual training course). Check out the ministries below!
Minister of the Word: Often referred to as “Lectors,” Ministers of the Word are responsible for preparing and proclaiming the scriptures at weekend Masses. Lectors are scheduled to serve about once every 2-3 months and are required to arrive 20 minutes prior to Mass.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion: Communion ministers are responsible for the distribution of the Blessed Sacrament in both species. Ministers are scheduled about once a month, and are required to come early to Mass to check in.
Hospitality
Greeters: Welcome all who enter the church and help distribute worship aids before Mass and bulletins after Mass.
Ushers: In addition to the responsibilities of greeters, are tasked with bringing up the collection and straightening up the church after the service (collecting loose worship aids, returning hymnals to the book holders, etc.).
Altar Servers: All people (students and adults) who have received First Communion are welcome to volunteer for this ministry. Servers assist Father and the deacon during Mass. Training is required.
