During the month of November, our Church remembers and prayers for all the Saints and ALL who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. November 1st is a Sunday this year. We will celebrate All Saints Day with mass at 9:30 AM. On November 2nd, All Souls Day, we will celebrate mass at 5:00 PM with A Special Commemoration remembering those from our parish who have died in the last year. Family members of parishioners who have died in the last year are invited to be with us, surrounded by our loving presence and prayers. Because we know it may be difficult for all who wish to attend due to Covid, we will be live streaming and recording the service to be available on our website.
All are invited, the entire month to bring a picture of a deceased loved one, preferably framed, to add to our display of icons of Saints. The Book of Remembrance will remain front and center to collect the written names of generations of deceased.
As is our tradition at Saint Bridget’s, candles can be purchased as a memorial to a loved one. These candles will illuminate our Sanctuary reminding us of the eternal hope promised by God.
