2017 Parish Mission: CHOSEN!

May 15-18th, 2017

6:30 PM

St. Austin Campus

COME, JOIN US!  Please plan to attend our parish mission on May 15-18th.  (For printable information, click here: Chosen flier)

A parish mission is an opportunity for us all to renew our Catholic faith.  The mission services, led by the Redemptorist Congregation, consist of a proclamation of the Word of God, preaching and reflection, and singing and praying together.  It will be a grace-filled opportunity to experience in a special way the wonderful and incredible presence and love of God, and help us realize the path for which we are “chosen.”

If you were on hiatus from the faith of your youth, the mission is for you. If you have been on again, off again in the living of your Catholic religion, the mission is for you. If you have wondered what is going on in the Church today, the mission is for you. If you have been faithful in your witness of your Catholic faith, the mission is for you.  If you feel you need to know more about how to pray, the mission is for you. If you judge yourself to be in need of spiritual growth, the mission is for you. If you are a sinner or a saint, or somewhere in between, the mission is for you. The mission is for everyone, but especially for you and your extended family, parishioners or not.

To make it easier for entire families to attend, there will be childcare available each evening. To help us best plan, you may RSVP childcare to the office (ask for Heather). However, even if you do not RSVP, please know children are welcome. If you need a ride to and from the evening services, call Sister Gert Brixius at the parish office, and she can assist you.

The Parish Mission, “Chosen,” will begin on Monday evening, May 15 at 6:30pm at our St. Austin campus.  Mission services are also planned on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at the same time and location.  Each service should last around an hour and fifteen minutes, and will be followed by a time for fellowship and refreshments. Please also consider attending our daily Mass at 8am (regular location schedule).
